Rosie O’Donnell and Ricki Lake went way out of line discussing on troops on the May 1st episode of The View. Everyone has freedom of speech but people have to be accountable for what they say.

RICKI LAKE: Because of a ineducation (sic), and they’re poor.
O’DONNELL: Thank you.
LAKE: And that’s the only way to get one.

I’ve sent a snail mail & an email so I feel somewhat better. Talk about ignorant-gee and she “loves” the troops. I doubt it. She and her stupid other fat pal, Lake need to return to school as well. BTW, I don’t believe there are any felons in the military. Perhaps she’s of the mindset like so many on the left that by virture of ones being in the military, you’re a felon.
Fox News reported last night that Rosie has been contact by both CBS and NBC with offers for a new program.
Can you imagine the outrage if she had spoken about any other group of people this way?
I guess we should just realize that no one really cares about what she said because I would venture a guess that there could be as many as 60% or more who actually feel that same way. I’ve come across a few myself in recent years and within my own family. Again speaking for myself & my husband, we don’t want or need her kind of “support, love or money”. I really doubt she actually knows anyone who is serving. She claims she does but I don’t believe her. She is truly an unhinged and unhappy person & I cannot imagine why. She has everything, money, a person to love and kids but she’s very unhappy about something. However, she is richly rewarded for her nonsense and evidently she will be again by some other network.
I’m wondering which catergory I fall in?
If you were not poor or a criminal I guess Rosie would think of you as a knuckle dragging goon who enjoys killing babies.
